From mi email to Chris:

Love the color .Keep it.

Really like the effect you used for the guitar, but I think that putting it was oriented at a different angle - maybe turned clockwise.

Good font for the "Rock Block" thing, but it's not immediately and easily apparent that the films are at "Block Cinema." Most of stitch's readership probably know about Block ,but it needs to be clearer. Maybe add "Rock and Roll films at Block Cinema? Or something more sexy.

"Rock and Roll Movies all quarter long" - Specify either "All Winter Quarter" or "Winter Quarter" . Just to avoid idiots.

Featuring Section- I appreciate the symmetry, but I don' think you need to mention the band for each film (A Hard Day's NIght and Spice World are obvious).
b. I checked imdb, and "Meeting People is Easy" is also known as Radiohead: Meeting People is Easy. It's more cumbersome, but it would be an easier title to
recognize instantly. Should we use that for our marketing?
c. Spice World is 2 words.

Will any suggestions?

Thanks for preparing the ad. I can't completely back it u with exapmples from the other ad, but you're going to have a pretty good portfolio of ad design stuffs at the end of the quarter. I'm done with finals Thursday, and will be in touch over the next day.

Sincerely,
Jason

I agree with jason that the band names aren't necessary and that putting Radiohead: Meeting People is Easy would be a good thing to put so people know fo sho it's radiohead.

actually, i agree with everything jason wrote.

i think the ad looks great and those little touches will help it be even better and clearer.
